Warranty Statement
The warranty offered is for twelve months from date of shipping and covers all labour and defective parts with the exception of fuses and consumables, on an ex-works, return to factory basis. Repairs carry a four month warranty. Should the cause of failure during the warranty period in the opinion of Planet Ocean Ltd be due to misuse or abuse of the instrument, or if the warranty has expired, the owner will be contacted and a quotation for the repair provided.
No warranty either expressed or implied is given as to the suitability of the equipment to perform any given task, unless agreed elsewhere in writing. The company can accept no liability for any consequential or indirect loss suffered by the customer whether this loss arises from a breach of duty in contract or tort or in any other way, including loss arising from the company’s negligence. This includes loss or damage resulting from the use of the equipment, or data obtained with it.
The use of parts or spares (with the exception of replaceable batteries where appropriate) other than those provided by Planet Ocean Ltd invalidates the warranty.
